WHO WE ARE
::Bite&Claw:: was founded in 2012 and has since grown to become an established store within the 3D virtual world of Second Life. Passionate about roleplay, our creators offer a selection of wounds and scars, equipment, buildings, accessories and clothing. The main genres catered to include medieval, fantasy and Gor. Most releases are available at our inworld mainstore, whilst some have been semi-retired and are only available through Second Life Marketplace.
We began with a few homemade wounds created to make roleplay just that little bit more immersive and realistic. Once other players started to make requests, the business grew from there. Today most of our creations come from the inspirations offered by the wonderful roleplayers we come across everyday across the grid.

HOW CAN I KEEP UP-TO-DATE WITH NEW RELEASES?
Many of our products are all available in our mainstore. Most of these, plus a wide range of older products are also available on Second Life Marketplace.
You have two options - you can either visit the Mainstore and click on the group joiner (uses up a group slot) or the subscriber (does not take up a slot).

If you purchased your item from one of our inworld vendors or Marketplace, simply visit the Mainstore and click on the Redelivery terminal in the main building. If you purchased from a gacha or event sales board and your transaction does not appear in the Redelivery terminal, please send an NC to Graea Resident with the transaction details from your Second Life transaction history. Please note that there are two options on the Redelivery board which depend on whether you made your purchase prior to the new vendor system being installed in January 2016. All Marketplace sales must use the BEFORE 2016 option regardless of purchase date as these are still handled by the old system.

I BOUGHT SOMETHING BUT CHANGED MY MIND. CAN I GET A REFUND?
I BOUGHT A MOD/COPY PRODUCT BUT IT SHOWS AS NO-MOD IN INVENTORY.
No. All of our products are sold as is, the majority being no transfer and so impossible to return. We offer an in world showroom where most of our buildings are displayed and offer demos for most other products. If something is not available for demo, we are happy to show you, but can only do so if you ask -before- purchase. If any issues with a product arise, we will rectify to the best of our ability, except where SL restrictions or grid issues prevent.
Several of our products contain scripts or notecards that need to be set as 'no modify' to protect our designs. A mod enabled product with one of these in its contents will show up as 'no modify' in your inventory, but rest assured, once you rez it you should be able to modify as needed. Any problems should be notecarded and sent to Graea Resident inworld.
CAN I BUY YOUR PRODUCTS AS GIFTS?
WHY IS MY GIFTCARD/DISCOUNT NOT WORKING?
Yes. Most of our scripted vendors offer a gift option. Click for the menu. There are selected vendors that do not offer this, usually special event discounted vendors and gacha machines.
Some vendors, usually specially discounted events or group discounted vendors, are set to not accept gift cards or additional discounts. Check before purchase by clicking the vendor and then selecting the Discounts button. If in doubt, contact Graea Resident before purchase.
APPLIERS? WHAT ARE THOSE?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE DOOR ON MY BUILDING?
Many of our skins and wounds are provided with appliers. These are small scripted HUD objects that link to a variety of changeable mesh body parts sold throughout SL. If you purchase these parts from the creator, our appliers mean that you can still use our skins or wounds with a perfect match to the rest of your body. Depending upon the type of item you purchase, most recent releases provide appliers for the following products:
Genesis Lab Mesh Heads
Maitreya Lara Mesh Body
Belleza Mesh Bodies
Slink Mesh Bodies
Some older skin/tattoo based products include appliers for the other products. These will be listed on the vendor.
Please note: we do NOT support appliers not listed. These products have been carefully chosen by our creators to best represent our products so please don't request that we provide others or make it possible for you to convert an existing applier as refusal often offends.
Whilst our buildings are always copy/mod, please be aware that in many of them, the doors are scripted for position, which means that any alterations in overall size of the building can also affect the door position. This can be easily fixed by resetting the door scripts and using 'edit linked prims' to put the door back in place.
However, it is occasionally the case that SL bugs can affect the settings in doors that have not been modified. If you find this is the case, unlinking the door from the rest of the building will fix the issue (right click>edit>edit linked prims>click door>unlink). This happens in a tiny minority of cases, and since having the door linked is easier for the majority of users, I have opted to keep them this way. Please feel free to ask if you need any help

All sales are final. Refunds will only be given in the event of a duplicate purchase and only if the transaction information for both purchases is provided via NC to Graea Resident.
We reserve the right to restrict or withdraw availability of any/all products at any time without notice. This includes items provided for special events. We will however endeavour to provide any notice we can.
Where it meets our needs, we reserve the right to alter pricing on any/all products at any time without warning, or to start/end sales promotions without notice. We will however endeavour to provide any notice we can. Prices inworld may vary from those listed on Marketplace.
All products purchased via inworld vendors are delivered from dropboxes located inworld. In the event of SL grid issues, it is possible that there may be delays/failures in item delivery. We provide a redelivery terminal in our mainstore, which can also be accessed from any vendor that has a menu. Please try this before contacting us about lost/failed/rejected deliveries.
Products purchased from non-vendors (special event items or gacha items) and not shown in the redelivery list can be resent providing full transaction information (obtained from secondlife.com) is sent via NC to Graea Resident.
Any marketplace delivery or order failures are entirely outside of our control. Whilst we will do all we can to aid in the event of issues, including the provision of inworld redelivery terminals that will serve completed Marketplace transaction, any service failures should be reported to Linden Labs as the service provider in the first instance. Prices inworld may differ from those on Marketplace.
We will always attempt to aid with any issues you may experience with our products, but please be aware that there are issues within Second Life that are beyond our control, particularly with scripted items. We will always do our best to rectify all problems in a reasonable timeframe. All requests for support should be very clearly notecarded and delivered inworld to Graea Resident with as much information as you can provide to help us tailor a solution.
Graea Resident is the main point of contact inworld and any queries directed elsewhere are not guaranteed to receive a response. IMs get capped often so queries should be forwarded either via notecard (clearly titled and included your SL name) or using the form on this website. At this point no other avatars are authorised to speak on behalf of ::Bite&Claw:: or ::B&C::Skins.
Custom work is not currently available.

Gacha is a game of chance, we are not able to sell or trade you other items from the machine, out of fairness to others who play.
No REFUND/EXCHANGE on any gacha items.
The only support I will be able to give you is in the case of transaction errors.
In case of non-delivery - If you did not receive a prize and expect to get that item a screenshot of the local chat or popup showing the item won is required. Gyazo is your friend for such things.
All Gacha items are transferable. If you receive one that you believe is not, please unpack it to check before contacting as on rare occasions the main box is not set to transfer enabled.
